The thing zoomies don't get about sitcoms is that they're the transition between the centuries-old art of theater and modern TV shows. The concept of being in a room and socially watching with a large amount of other people. It was the same thing that film had when theaters were packed in the 20th century and people reacted together.
Sitcoms are hokey but only because the demographic they cater to are hokey. These shows aren't bad when they're filmed in front of a genuine live studio audience

I gave this show a chance after being a fan of a few other 90s sitcoms seinfeld, frasier, Roseanne when I was a kid, married with children. Used to only think Rob was funny but Ray is surprisingly good and overall it's a decent show.
