No, it's an overrated, boring pair. Not that Ron and Hermione are perfect, but Harry and Hermione are perfect as friends. One of the few times in fiction I actually truly buy that a guy and a girl are platonic friends and don't like each other romantically.

I'd rather make Ron more like his book version instead of giving almost all of his good moments to Hermione.
It sucks that Rupert was so much better of an actor for the first 3 movies than the other 2 were. They ended up leaning way to hard on Ron to emote and be funny to cover up the other two's wooden acting, especially during exposition dumps.
