A better question would be why would anyone be exited about it? Ironheart is not even C tier like Jessica Jones was. They are adapting characters with little history and absolutely no traction like this one, Moon Knight and She Hulk when they have tons of more interesting ones to work with (specially now that they own the X-men family)

It is fundamentally the wrong approach. This is what happens when the decisions are taken by people unfamiliar with the IPs. The amusing part is that with the right IP they could still push all the same buttons they are pushing but with IPs people would actually care to watch.
