Yes, I've never even been able to sit through Batman and Robin. I might give it another chance again, though, trying to see it as attempting to copy the tone of the 60s tv show. In a way the Burton film changed expectations for what a Batman movie should be. However, I probably would never have liked anything Batman related if it weren't for the Burton movie, since i can't stand the campy tv show.

I liked the Riddler and Two-Face scenes. It didn't make much sense to have 2 villains though. I think the film would have been way better if it only had Riddler and focused more on his character. The movie does a really good job at creating atmosphere, but it also feels really hollow and empty.

Jim's smug comedic schtick is perfect for the Riddler (although the costume was atrocious)
and Tommy Lee no-selling Jim's buffoonery is even better.
I appreciate this era because I enjoyed the nods to the campy comic style.
A balance between this with the darker tone of TDK trilogy is the sweet spot.
Loved both Tommy Lee and Jim in their roles.
