You need every instructional material for the post apocalypse. The tent of parachute material was well made. It teases the desire to learn how to drive an 18 wheeler.

It's just a bit too long
No one gives a fuck about furiosa
Standout performance though of Hemsworths career.

The entire original trilogy is good, though.
The first movie has the great setting of a society that's past the point of no return in decline, but people still lie to themselves and act like they can still make a difference. That kind of setting is greatly underutilized in fiction.
The third movie somehow still works despite the PG-13 rating downgrade. I thought it was very good character work to have Max, a character whose defining moment was losing his family to senseless violence, to immediately forget about his personal grudges once he comes across a hidden enclave a children, and force his way into a role as their guardian.

In a metaphor sense, not literally.

The game even outright and explicitly depicts nuclear war, and the game was approved by Miller and made canon by the second film

Did we watch the same movie?
Because the whole point is that he's dragged into a "kid adventure" against his best wishes and will. And then spends the rest of the movie trying to survive

Bravo, Miller!
Furiosa was loyal to Immortan Joe and beat up his harem for not being grateful for saving them from wasteland horrors in the comic. Miller went full feminist.

The opening fragments of narration from Fury Road seems to imply climate/ecological breakdown leading to social fragmentation and dwindling resources which then leads to ignited tensions as governments are forced into harsher competition and eventually engage in nuclear war. So both

It's more to do with global collapse due to running out of oil/fossil fuels. Which is actually the original context of the first Mad Max - the oil shortages of the 1970s. The original also references the collapsing ecosystem I think.
Of course, us burning up all the fossil fuels isn't unrelated to the collapsing ecosystem.

actually, I'd rather you fuck off regardless. It directly say nuclear war in the film. The faggot doesn't get to go "ackshually it's climate change" after the movie has already released.
it would be like if Scott started claiming that the xenomorph didn't have acidic blood
the content of the movie is what matters, not the director's fart-sniffing interviews

Miller made Furiosa and said that this movie has no effects on Wasteland and then Furiosa bombed and suddenly Wasteland will not be made because "Mad Max movies don't do as good anymore"
