Why are drive-in movie scenes always at night? Is it a reference to something?
>>211531858 (OP)You have to hire more extras to sit in cars and/or buy more dummies if it's shot during the day. If it's shot at night, you can leave most cars in the background empty and no one will notice.
>>211531858 (OP)if a drive in movie scene happened during the day, the projection on the screen would be barely visible which is a reference to trans women who are sadly barely visible even with the worldwide day of visibility
>>211531858 (OP)because its powered by the sun and the sun turns into the moon at the end of the day
>>211531906What if they just put a big tent around the area to enclose it
>>211531968that would be DISHONEST filmmaking
i think they know the answer and made this thread in bad faith
>>211531990nobody would do that on /tv/. this is an honest board and I’ll vouch for it.

There's a flea market during the day. So unless the scene required a flea market, it wouldn't make sense to be at the drive-in when the sun is out.
Before 2003 it was illegal to finger a woman during daylight hours.
