Could Hollywood make a live action Gundam movie of the first series? Or would everyone be horribly miscast?

It's too complex and too long for one movie.
Nobody will understand what's going on.
The usual Gundam themes about war, loss, love could work as an unconnected side story.

Sydney Sweeney has already been cast. Unknown if its an original character or if she is playing someone specific. There are so many iterations of Gundam and so many timelines that you do not need to adapt any of them tbqh, just do an original story.
