>Loves Jazz, a proper music genre instead of vomiting modern shit and rock
>Makes the most successful western cartoon, raping Zombie Simpsons for over 20 years
>And yet fills it with Jazz
>Makes the TED saga
>Good comedy, Marky Mark as the lead, good jazz and no blacks
>Makes The Orville, raping again both Star Trek and Star Wars regarding quality
>AND STILL, at the end he becomes a Jazz singer, releasing bangers like this one because that was his dream all along

There's no such thing as "traditional pop". This is a retroactive label that post-war writers call anything prior to bebop, because they're idiots. So-called traditional pop is directly linked to sweet jazz, hot jazz, dance hall, swing, etc. The music that Sinatra performed is a deviation of jazz, although it does not necessarily directly resemble the better music from the 1920's and 30's.

Sinatra is pop, not jazz. Glitzy pop, but still pop. Has absolutely nothing to do with swing, big band jazz

Sinitra played Swing or Big Band music. It's not considered Jazz at all

Jazz music is blacker than a moonless midnight in Charlie Murphy's basement. What the fuck is this freak even trying to say with this thread?

Yup I concede Seth got to play the role of main character in this reality.
I'm not salty though, I approve of most things he makes, barring some parts of FG/AD and the Ted movies (I'm meh towards Mark Wahlberg).

Maybe if I ever managed to avoid a 9/11 tier crisis in this simulation, I'd too be bestowed with lifetime success. But I'm also happy being normal.

Also I don't entirely get the appeal of Sinatra. His voice is so-so to me. Smooth sure, but lacks character, and knowing the thuggish nature of his actual character makes me dislike him.

I get why people like him though, he's the best at characterizing a certain overall style and he first to showcase the best arrangements of certain genuinely great songs (written by others for others initially), even though I prefer the other renditions. Like Guess I'll Hang My Tears Out To Dry sung by him is just so-so for me, I think I prefer Linda Ronstadt's version by a mile.
