Seeing everyone praise the cinematography in Shogun made me feel like i was losing my fucking mind, the entire series looked like it was shot with a fisheye lense, the colours were washed out and looked like shit, and there was constant weird effects like giant blinding lense flares.

First show I've seen that genuinely hurt my eyes at times with how ugly it was. Which is a shame because the sets and costumes were fantastic, it was all because of the horrible horrible camerawork and editing
