Watching it right now. It's alright.
>A bit brown
But some funny bits. Script largely pretty thin.
>Ian McShane looks good.
>Sean Bean is good
>Orlando Bloom best in it

I was surprised that the movie didn't drag at all and it felt like it was over pretty quickly. Orlando was great in this and Paddy was likeable as always.

I still have half an hour to go but pacing has been good, yeah. Pretty likeable movie and plot but maybe a bit forgettable.

Needs better banter/writing for a movie set in London. All of the cliches they are going for fall a bit flat (cops, gangsters, city boys, etc.). Only the annoying toff pals of BDHoward feel relatable.

Maybe that was harsh but if they nailed the writing it has the cast to pull it off, I maybe mean.

It's a good premise and could work in a sequel if they up the stales, have them play as spies or something. I liked the Uber rehab joke when they were stealing her friends car.

I'm a sucker for this trope, the heroes either lying or just unaware of what's going on, but through acting or random luck they end up succeeding and getting a badass reputation. This is a good movie for it, there are enough lucky breaks and bluffs paying off without it seeming too ridiculous.
Reminds me of "The Man Who Knew Too Little", Bill Murray thinks he's in a fully paid-for role playing experience and that everyone he talks to is an actor, not knowing he's wandered into an actual spy/crime situation. Involving a scene where criminals interrogate him under truth serum to find out who he works for and he keeps answering "Blockbuster video". Completely true, but they assume he's so highly trained that he can resist the serum.
Or King from One-Punch Man, a scary looking but completely normal guy who through complete chance he gets a reputation for being the "strongest hero", to the point where monsters just surrender to him while he stands there having a panic attack.
