>This caused Britbongs to flood the room with their piss laughing
My room was already flooded with piss m8
That would be an ecumenical matter
Between this and the various Father Brown adaptations, I must say I really enjoy shows that portray priests as decent fellows.

>So, are all vacations like this?>Yeah, pretty much.
DON'T TELL ME I'M STILL ON THAT FECKIN' ISLAND
there was something magical about watching imported british shows on public tv in the 90s
it was like this genuine elite cool nerd secret in-the-know thing before those words lost all meaning
you'd always know that the same guy who watched shows like this and fawlty towers and are you being served would also be a fan of mst3k and dungeons and dragons and they'd always be down for a clever laugh
>>211580411 (OP)Irish technically
They just got British funding since the production company got lied to and was under the impression it was a desconstruction of Ireland in general and didnt realize we didn't care organized religion. They literally thought it was going to be some sort of mockumentary about why the South is bad and NI needs to rejoin the Empire properly
>>211587164If you like old comedies too then All Gas & Gaiters was also very comfy
>I'm so gorgeous they want to put me under arrest
>>211583255I work with an Irish guy who is the exact same type of retarded cheery as Dougal. I completely understand why father Ted gets annoyed by him. I actually had to yell at the guy once.
Its funnier when you hear him speak irl and he's some well spoken classically trained actor. desu it'd be a hard part to play this well.
