Don't get me wrong... Obi-Wan is a great mentor. As wise as Master Yoda and as powerful as Master Windu. I am truly thankful that Anakin is his apprentice. He was also very loyal to the Jedi and to their code and there were plenty of instances where he either didnt or couldnt support Anakin through his life and when he finally tipped over when he helped Palpy kill Windu, he saw through it all and even before they started the duel, Obi Wan was sticking to respecting the code and the values of a government that was dissolved and a cult that was exterminated, both of which Anakin saw with hatred for all of its failings to try and help him.
