They basically allow this stuff to happen already in many cities, US and otherwise. Providing needles, no go zones, etc, where drugs have either been or might as well be legal. Kensington Ave in Filthadelphia, Portland, places in Canada.

They say it's "homeless" but its just a bunch of druggies who don't want to do anything with their lives and the people who enable it

Not really, you need to regulate production and distribution way above street level to achieve tangible benefit in public health and crime outcomes. But of course, that's far above what a single police major could ever hope to achieve.

how hard is it to just follow the dealers to the suppliers they pick up their major quantities of drugs from?

You know what works for stopping crime? Arresting people and enforcing the law. Libs have this fantasy that if they do the opposite then things will somehow work themselves out. And the result is Minneapolis and the CHAZ and no go zones and all that.

But this is empirically not true thoughbeit.

Why don't they just follow them in shifts and see where they go. Basically what Omar did. They did it once in like season 2 with trucks and that's it.

Yes, this is the liberal perspective.
>No man, we can't do anything about crime until we fix all social issues from the bottom up (using leftist economics so they will never be fixed). We can't do anything about the homeless taking over the public square and shitting in your yard until we end homelessness altogether
So we sit there and twiddle our thumbs and do nothing, waiting for you to simultaneously solve every problem in society so we can get on with our lives

>But this is empirically not true thoughbeit.
It is 100% true. It works every time. It's not difficult in the slightest. Look at El Salvador. It went from the murder capital of the world to zero murders in a year just by arresting obvious gang members.

No, America is Hamsterdam because the Federal government refuses to enforce its own laws on the Schedule I illegal poison known as marijuana, which numerous state governments claim to have "legalized". Many defiant states are now even involved in the production, distribution, sale, and even taxation of his banned psychoactive drug, which has turned so many promising young people into burned out redditors, eating cereal and giggling at Rick & Morty while thinking they're "geniuses" like known grasshead Elon Musk.

If Trump is capable of doing one thing right, we'll see the US Armed Forces deployed to each one of these state capitals. The governor's mansions and state senates will be raided. The political perpetrators will shot on sight, no trial need since they are basically terrorists. The citizens will be forced to stay indoors to protect their lungs, as millions of acres of illicit dope fields are bombed with napalm. And if the grow sites are indoors, just napalm the whole building. Maybe even the whole neighborhood, just to be safe. Especially problematic states like Colorado might be candidates for tactical nukes, since the land, air, and water are already permanently contaminated by cannabis particles.

And, of course, all current or former citizens of "weed friendly" nations like Canada and Mexico will be deported.... by being loaded into giant C-130 cargo aircraft and then dropped in the ocean Atlantic or Pacific Ocean--their choice, we're not monsters--free to swim to whatever drug haven they choose for the rest of their miserable stoned-out existence.

You don't follow the drugs. You follow the money. The money was used to pay people like the jew lawyer to represent everyone in the Barksdale crew and for witness intimidation, for example.

The thing of it is is that we've already been doing that for decades. It's not fucking working. Our justice system is only concerned with punitive measures instead of rehabilitation, so our recidivism rate is very high.

No, we have not. There are criminals everywhere. Crime is tolerated everywhere.
>Our justice system is only concerned with punitive measures instead of rehabilitation, so our recidivism rate is very high.
You are literally just a collection of very worn out talking points. I want you to honestly consider that for a moment.

>Lefty pretending not to be a statist
Tolerating crime is part of totalitarianism. It gives the state power and takes it away from citizens.
Anyways, no, we have not tried actually stopping crime at any point in the recent past. Only playing whack a mole and enabling it.
Again, actually stopping crime, very simple, done many times, always works. What we have now is not that.

I think they portrayed it pretty well as working at first but then quickly spiraling out of control as well as some unintended problems like the police losing respect
