THE PREMISE:

Max Goof is now in his late 20s, working as a creative designer at a struggling animation studio in Los Angeles. He's drifting—creatively blocked, avoiding responsibility, and pushing away those closest to him—including his dad, Goofy, who’s now semi-retired and loving his new life as a grandpa-level dog dad to an adopted baby dog.

When Max is unexpectedly placed in charge of a high-stakes animated film for the studio (a last-ditch effort to save it), he’s forced to confront the parts of himself he’s been avoiding. But he can’t do it alone. So Goofy, ever the optimist, crashes back into Max’s life to “help,” bringing chaos, wisdom, and a big heart.

Meanwhile, Max reconnects with Roxanne, who is now a successful indie filmmaker—and has a daughter named Skye, a bold, precocious tween with serious Powerline dance moves. Is Max the dad? Not quite—but there's a twist...
ACT 2 TWIST:

Goofy gets accidentally cast as the voice of a side character in Max’s film and becomes a viral sensation. Suddenly, he’s the star—leading to friction between father and son. Max has to learn to let go of perfection, embrace his roots, and rediscover his own voice—with some help from his dad, Roxanne, and young Skye.

Meanwhile, the villain of the story is a soulless AI-driven animation exec who wants to erase all creativity and replace it with algorithm-approved content. Goofy and Max must band together to prove that real heart and goofiness can’t be automated.

Max is becoming a father.
His wife dies during labor (its disney. Someone needs to drop right away or its not disney)
Max is heart broken and scared. At the same time the company he works for files for bankruptcy and everyone gets laid off. Max has no choice but to move back in with his dad.
Goofy, being the loving dad he is. Allows it. He helps max raise his kid. But the daughter looks so much like his mother that it hurts max to even see her smile.
Max is dealing with intense emotions that he needs to learn to handle and he snaps at goofy for playing around too much "my child needs structure. Youre messing it up dad. You dont know what youre doing!"
Goofy feels hurt but understands that right now max just needs some emotional support. Like when his mom died.
Goofy ends up helping max through showing him vidoes of how he helped when max's mom died. Them playing and bonding and facing troubles.

Pete talks about how his family is better cause none of hos wife or kids wife have died.
Goofy stands upto him and max sees how strong his dad is for taking the emotional abuse. Goofy breaks down after with grandkid and spills how it never stops being scary and how loving your family is all you need to get through it. Max was listening in /watching and he is able to pull it together for his daughter and his dad. (Who is sick, did i mention that? He has cancer or something and is hiding it)
So max and goofy make up while looking at a photo album. Goofy adds one of the three of them he took. While a song plays. The pages turn and it shows them being a loving family and the kid growing. Until it closes and pulls out to modern day. Max is old. Kid is grown up. Picture of goofy beside an urn.

Why would the AI make itself the villain?
It added in the single mom nonsense but also railed against "algorithm-approved content"

So why do people nowadays think that it was a good movie? It got unfavorable reviews and flopped at the box office for a reason.

Meanwhile, Goofy is adjusting to retirement and finding new hobbies—one of which is going viral on GoofTok (a TikTok parody) for his clumsy but charming DIY and dance videos. Much to Max’s horror, Goofy becomes an internet sensation.

The central story kicks off when Max gets a shot at a career-reviving project: revamping a classic Powerline song (yes, Powerline is back, older but still a legend). But in a wild twist, the label insists Max bring Goofy on as part of a "retro-viral" father-son collaboration to ride the internet fame.

The Road Trip Twist:
Goofy, Max, and even P.J. and Bobby (Pauly Shore’s character) end up on a chaotic road trip to track down Powerline—who’s gone off the grid to rediscover his musical soul. Along the way, Max reconnects with his own roots, learns to embrace the "Goof" within him, and finds inspiration not by running from his father, but by embracing their weird, musical bond.

Max is a dad now and is going through some of the same things Goofy went through. To do some bonding all the Goofs try to recreate the trip from the first movie but things go shit-shaped in a new way.

Max cucks Roxanne with a new chick and he's just a toxic piece of shit the whole movie. Goofy is still married to the librarian chick from 2, she has big gilf titties and a massive ass now.
