>The main plot revolves around Doctor Doom pitting the Avengers against the X-Men while the Fantastic Four try to stop him. Doom will also have abducted Reed and Sue’s son Franklin Richards.
>The Avengers and the X-Men fight because there is an incursion between Earth-616 (the Avengers’ universe) and Earth-10005 (the X-Men’s universe); meaning one of the two universes must die or both will be destroyed.
>Doom will allegedly present himself as an ally at first, taking advantage of being a Tony Stark variant to get the Avengers to trust him, and will even have a more heroic-looking Iron Man-esque armor which he trades for his classic comics armor when he reveals his true colors.
>Despite this, Doom is said to have an understandable motivation like Thanos, apparently blaming the heroes’ careless traveling between universes for causing the incursion that destroyed his world and deeming himself the only one fit to save the Multiverse from itself.
>Doom will control the Sentinels and attack the X-Mansion. When they fight back, the Avengers mistake them for enemies, and the X-Men do the same because they Avengers are with the Sentinels, and the big fight breaks out until the Fantastic Four intervene.
>The battle reportedly features Doom, Captain America/Sam Wilson, Black Widow/Yelena Belova, Captain Marvel, Shang-Chi, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Beast, Gambit, Deadpool, Magneto, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman, among others, with Doom 1v1 Magneto and Nightcrawler (with dual-wielding swords) 1v1 Mister Fantastic.
