It will be many more years to have Superman fly, get married to Lois Lane, be friends with Jimmy Olsen, encounter kryptonite, or have many of his other supporting cast members without the fear of a lawsuit from Warner Brothers.
The version of the Green Lantern which will become public domain in 2036 isn't Hal Jordan, it's Alan Scott; who predated the Green Lantern Core, or any of the sci-fi aspects of the Green Lantern lore. All that will be available is a dude with a green lantern from a dead magic Chinaman who worked for the old railroads. Similarly the Flash being public domain won't bring along the Speed Force, Berry Allen, Wally West, any of the Flash's main villains or supporting cast members. It is essentially the same as making a new character.
Aquaman didn't become Arthur Curry, or the king of Atlantis for many years after his debut, so public domain Aquaman will just be the mysterious golden age Earth-2 Aquaman.
The exception here is Wonder Woman who came basically fully formed right out of the gate. Invisible jet, Amazons, Paradise Islands, Steve Trevor, that was issue no. 1.
