Barriga and his son were the only good persons in the show. Shame all the other asshole characters couldn't have a single interaction with them without making fun of their weight.

Don Ramon, never made a honest attempt to pay the rent, Barriga would have been fine with the bare minimum.

Godinez was played by Chespirito's manager and real-life brother Horacio Gomez Bolaños. In one school episode, Chespirito asked Godinez to play one of the kids for filling space but Godinez was already busy with producing El Chavo so he asked Chespirito to have few lines. Chespirito accepted and that's why Godinez didn't have more screentime despite his popularity

It's been more than two decades since I last watched the show but I still remember the episode where Don Ramon teaches boxing el Chavo. That shit killed me.
