There's an episode where the police, including one of the characters' girlfriends, get insulted by a bunch of people outside of the projects, and it goes viral. This fucking shit. I've actually had seizures that made more sense in terms of continuity and pacing. I refuse to believe that any human was involved in the writing of Riverdale. It's like the shit wasn't even proofread, and thirty seconds after whatever malfunctioning printer shat out each episode, an entire production team just started making it into a real episode of "television."

I also read Archie comics growing up, so trying to make sense of how or why they "adapted" anything from the comics is stroke-inducing. Archie fucks Ms. Beasley, and that's by far the least of the jarring nonsense in this show. FUCK

Also, the show has Madchen Amick as Betty's mom, so there's supposed to be some kind of Lynch thing going on, but again the show is written by a robot with a hard drive that has corrupted sectors and if fucks it all up. They light everything like it's a "serious" porno, no matter what's happening, and the Twin Peaks style twists are either things that happen mid-episode and blow up the already retarded plots, or they're just thrown in at the end of the episode in a way that's meant to make you forget it even happened.

He’s probably content doing this one thing. There’s no way you can be main cast in 450+ episodes of a show since 2003 and have no chance at branching out into other projects. I don’t think he’s trapped. He probably just found success and a routine that he enjoys, very stable employment which is uncommon for most actors. He can probably spend tons of time with his family and every week they get to see a new episode of him on TV.
