that is the point of the movie, she is stunlocked and just continues to go with the flow, she said thanks when she is fired because she had no willpower to quit and do something that she wants. she hates her life, she burns money as a selfharm. the ending is open ended but I like to think she finally "wakes up" to her life.

I'm surprised to actually see an intelligent non-meme word salad answer to a question on tv. But yeah that was my take on it. She's dissolutioned and depressed. When you're down and out like that you kinda have a beaten down quality where you end up doing work that reflects your low feeling of self worth. Scrubbing dishes, cleaning toilets, Or if you're a hot girl letting men objectify your holes for money. She's clearly on a depressive binge and looking for rock bottom. I suppose in the end she finds it. Pretty bleak movie in some ways. I saw it at the cinema. That said Emily Browning is one hot piece of ass. I wish I could flip that coin in a bar and get tails.
