prometheus has many stupid ideas but the stupidest one is the creation of engineers and more specifically their height and size. they are super intelligent creatures that travel in space and have mastered genetic modification to perfection but are still bigger than Shaquille O'Neal (they have a height between 8'-12'). it's stupid because it should be the other way around they should reduce their height and weight, they should be the height and weight of a human dwarf (or even less) they should only care about brain size. smaller size means you need less food and your spaceships can be smaller so you need less materials to build them which makes space travel easier. Actually large size in humans only matters in dating and sports because since weapons and ladders were invented we don't need giants anymore. so from a race of super intelligent beings I would expect something more
