>>211637026 (OP)Delta usually doesn't talk much about it. There are always around maybe 30-40 delta guys at all times. There has been around 1000 total.
Seals are 2-3k and have a bad bad tendency to make things up like lone survivor
Delta force combat stories don't work well on screen because the fire fights and constant contact mean the movie would have to keep going to avoid missing shoot outs. Delta force guys aren't the biggest problem toughest they usually are the most intelligent and adaptive. I only saw two in 3 years deployed. They looked like they were built like Spiderman, didn't talk much and wore what they wanted. Only saw them coming in and when they came back from something. They probably were grabbing a leader is our guess.
Saw a lot of seals. They are more split. Some are bad asses and some are white trash who were genetically gifted.
Air Force para rescue and what were recon marines were total badasses. The recon Marines especially. They were jacked up like NFL players but were the most respectful, clean and just all around good guys. They knew they were near the top of the food chain but did not act like it. Seals it was 50/50. Delta was the best then recon then rangers then para then seals.
