Muunilinst and San Hill are never used in Filoni Wars since Genndy Wars covered that battle, so they made up new Banking Clan villains and a new planet.
Asajj Ventress is a pre-established villain in Filoni Wars because they expected audiences to have already seen her fight Anakin in Genndy Wars
Durge was cut from Filoni Wars because they couldn't do invincible worm man on their CGI budget and nobody felt good about the idea of just having a human wearing that same armor.
Even the season made after Disney doesn't bother showing the Battle of Coruscant beyond mentioning Shaak Ti is protecting Palpatine because again, Genndy covered that.

Star Wars is fantasy and not sci-fi; they openly said this during the production of ESB in the lost documentary. In many ways I see DnD as paralleling the path of Star Wars.

Much like this old EU book I read that was like an episode of Star Trek but in Star Wars, stuff should work in SW but often doesn't. Star Wars sometimes feels as wide as an ocean but deep as a puddle.
