His parents divorced, the Italian father disappeared after the truth came out, Mr. Dink went to jail for child molestation after Doug's diary confession was found, his sister joined the navy after failing out of college, Skeeter died of a drug overdose in San Francisco, Patti and Roger hooked up in high school, married, and had six kids. No one talks about Doug anymore but he had his name on a slide show during the 20 year high school reunion.
