Call me crazy, but that mutt shouldn't have ever been allowed anywhere near that court. He's not enrolled as a student at the school! By the film's logic, Michael Jordan could have subbed in and won the game for the Timberwolves.

Nay, I contest this as the biggest logical outrage. 5 or 6 Dalmatians perhaps, but 101?? The mother would've died, realistically speaking

There was simply nothing in the rulebook which prohibited a canine from being a member of the team. One would expect it to require that the player be a student, but the text did not exist. The rules may have stated that professional players or people over a certain age could not play, disqualifying Jordan.

If not in the letter of the law, it's in the spirit of the law that a dog cannot sub in for a child's basketball team. If they had any honor at all, the Timberwolves would've forfeited.

To be fair, he was much younger than all of his opponents in addition to the lack of opposable thumbs.

Though I think most of his possessions would be considered traveling violations. Anon, I think it's time I give Air Bid (1997) another viewing.

I don't think Michael Jordan would want to play for an amateur league and sure the school could not come up with funds competitive with his NBA salary. Additionally, all professional athletes' contract specifically stipulate that they are not to play that sport professionally for any other team whatsoever.

Once again, I would note that there is likely an age limit within the rules.

>oh no, our star player marty jordan rolled his ankle, and the tournament is tomorrow
>i know just the guy
>look michael, i know we're not the nba, but your second cousin is really counting on you, he ties the team together, they're lost without you
>just put on these glasses so you look like a student
>you got it, boss
see, it practically writes itself

With out seeing the movie, I truly believe that this is the greatest concept of a movie ever.
