honestly, man once you go OLED you'll never get over it. every time you go to a movie theater you'll say to yourself "this is fucking garbage".

The thrill of a successful Popcorn Handjob can't be accomplished in the safety of one's own home. If it could, theaters would cease to exist.

If you go during the less popular times you can literally be alone in the theater. Happened to me a couple times

on one hand you can get freak luck like this sometimes and watch a movie you love in a theater that is essentially your own private showing where you're free to drink and smoke and laugh as loud as you want
and on the other hand you can walk in, the whole place reeks like cleaning solution, every chair is freshly damp with spray, but for some reason there's still trash all over the floor and you still get a rash on your arms anywhere your skin made contact with the seat

both of these have happened to me. the only reason i continued to go was because the movies were good. rolling the dice on which of those two situations i get is pointless when the "prize" is watching some dogshit movie with a 10-20 dollar ticket

Imax 70mm is 18 k. But there's like 12 of those in the country and mostly are used for documentaries.
