The first two acts of lost world are absolute kino, but the movie overall suffers from the tacked-on 3rd act. Thats not to say the San Diego part was bad in a vacuum, but the end result was two separate tangential plotlines that were smashed together and weren't permitted to be fleshed out. 2nd act ends, suddenly half the main characters like Roland and Van Owen and the black girl just disappear, and the Isla Sorna plotline just kinda ends without having nearly as much oomph as it should've had
