>>211695004The left has legitimately made the greatest strides in destroying the "I Have a Dream" racial ethics that like every kid born in the 80s and 90s had drilled into their head. We were all taught to not see color and it was considered so absurd to do so that it was actually comical or absurd if you did. Racists were caricatures. Then, right around Occupy Wall Street, but you could probably argue otherwise when it actually occurred, it then became the case that if you didn't see color, you were racist. It used to be you should see a gay person as a person first. Now, a lot of gay people want to lead with being gay.
That's not always the case though which is what makes the situation so complicated. I have a few gay friends that "hate gay people." By that they mean people who prioritize gayness (or skin color or disability for that matter) above their humanity. That's just how it all goes now and the right's awareness of it is a direct result of getting called racist for years for wanting to move past it and instead focus on the content of people's characters...which the truth is, most of these gay people, black people, Jews, and so on who are making a big deal out of those aspects of themselves are just assholes playing a victim card to enable them to keep being assholes.
