I love Lynch but this is true. If you play Twin Peaks music over The Room by Tommy Wiseau it fits perfectly and evokes the same feeling as Twin Peaks.

Tarantino was raised by a revolving door of black guys who all fucked his mom and he can't into abstract thought. He was, is and always will be a midwit

Lynch always felt like a unique mind, there are lot of non Americans who did basically the same shtick as him but I always like that he peppers his stuff with more mystery and optimism, similar directors fall too deep into the nihilism hole

Twin peaks is shit.
Lynch peaked with Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Mallonhald drive. Other his works just meh

It developed a cult status in the years that followed and Lynch still had an interest in it, so it was always a high possibility. Season 3 was more kino than the original run though (not that season 2 was a high bar either).

Angelo's music was good, but Laura's theme playing every five minutes really got on my nerves.

True. It was also used as the Love Theme, so for anything romantic, you'd have to hear it, even if Laura wasn't relevant to whatever was happening.
The show really only had 4 or 5 actual original tracks, the rest of the music was just stripped away versions of the same song.

They released the full score a while ago and for example is has
>Laura's Theme
>Laura's Theme (Piano Version)
>Laura's Theme (Baritone Guitar Punctuated)
>Laura's Theme (Ghost Version)
>Laura's Theme (Dark Synth)
>Laura's Theme (Piano Take A #03)
And that list is just from the first 3 episodes. I don't want to say Angelo was a hack, since it may have been a deliberate choice by production, but holy fuck is it lazy and repetitive.

Thatโ€™s the difference between a real director subverting traditional storytelling and a hack like Nolan who pretends he does but is actually doesnโ€™t

If we're to take this literally, nothing happening would be the screen being completely blank. Since that isn't the case, what do you mean by "nothing happening"?
