I blame the Snyderjeets. They did the same shit with The Flash movie. That movie was supposed to hit a billion. Easy. It had Michael Keaton, the iconic Batman. It had CGI cameos of Christopher Reeve and Nic Cage. It was a great movie. But Snydersaar started to shit every little thing about the movie online. They even went and created fake headlines about the hero cooking babies in the microwave. This type of counter marketing work.
Now they're doing the same thing with this. The whole discourse regarding the actor having crossed eyes was them. Something so stupid, but they lached to it and made it into a thing. I fucking hate them. WB needs this movie to be a win. We DC fans need this to be a win. If you're a fan, you'd support this. The movie looks great.

One thing is for sure: this movie is gonna flop in India.

Depends, if its a middling then they continue with the projects too far in produciton but then consolidate the scope of the rest. Things like the Batman Part II get fast-tracked and things like The flash directors Batman get shelved. If its a complete underpeformance then I think it has a chance of going the way of the Dark Universe. They make Supergirl and Lanterns and then just stick to Batchad media. Like I said in the /co/ thread, Normalfags don’t care about DC Comics.

They see it as inferior to Marvel.

Even Batman doesn’t have the same star power as The Batman made less box office than Dr Strange 2. And the Flash movie was hyped up with Keaton Batman and it still bombed.


The best solution would be for WB to hold off making DC movies for ten years until people have forgotten. Then start making good solo movies. But WB is impatient and they want their cinematic universe immediately.
