Despicable and embarrassing on every level. Doubly so because the vast majority of the audience that is the target of this movie has not seen that film and will never see it. Man of Steel was its own film and enough time has gone by that by pure osmosis the young adult audience this movie needs to survive has latched on to Henry's Superman incarnation far too much for them to accept this whoever-the-fuck he is as Superman. Even worse is the complete plagiarizing of the Marvel Studios logo. How obnoxious. Also:
>A James Gunn Film
99 percent of the movie going audience has no idea who the fuck James Gunn is. Huge bomb incoming. Zazlav will roll heads like dominos.

$400 million globally would translate to a $800-$1b total. if the movie is good a billy should be mostly guaranteed.

guardians 3 only made 118m domestic opening and wound up with $845 total.

It opens 85 million domestically and a 145 million globally and limps to a meek 550 million haul.

Thatโ€™s optimistic. It has 2 weeks until Fantastic 4 obliterates it.

Both will be obliterated by Jurassic World which will open lightly but have great legs due to no negative fandom baggage and oversaturation.

I understand thinking this looks like the worst Superman ever because it does.
I do NOT understand why Man of Steel is supposed to look good in comparison. Man of Steel is embarrassing to look at.

The reviews will kill Superman once the mixed reviews and rotten tomatoes come out its estimates will be lower. Plus two weeks ago it was tracking 145-165 million and went down already. Its not making a billion. It will do like cap 4 or Thunderbolts.

Gunnjeets have yet to refute this. The guerrilla marketing campaign for this movie is so blatant.

Also the range its tracking at is between 90-120 million, sandwiched between two other big movies. Seeing the obliteration for Mission Impossible despite the opening Supersaar will flop after a stupendous drop following opening weekend
