Recently watched Arc of Infinity for the first time. What do anons think about? I found it tedious and a waste of both Amsterdam and Omega. Given that The Five Doctors is the same year, I am somewhat surprised they did not have Omega return in that. On Omega’s return in general, it seems like audiences at the time would have been locked-out - 10 years since The Three Doctors and the last appearance of Omega meaning they either did not watch it or if did remember it, and Arc not particularly establishing Omega and the Doctor’s history. I do not understand why they left Tegan in Time-Flight only for her to immediately return in Arc (and in such a contrived way). The only thing that I particular liked was some of the Nyssa moments, such as when she pulled the gun on the Time Lords.
