Interesting, I'd never made the correlation: on the surface, one is about jealousy, suspicion and infidelity; while the other is about duty to one's country, disdain for the common man and the general populace, and mercy and redemption. But, if Rome is to Coriolanus what Desdemona is to Othello, I guess you could say the two pairs are reconciled at the end, albeit too late.
I'd probably have to elucidate and expound the general topics and plot points, but there might be an argument to be made.

I enjoyed it, though the "fetch quest" part felt really weird to me, almost like it switched from being a movie into watching a videogame play itself.

I like Elfman, but except for This Is Halloween, I've never really been fond of the songs in Nightmare. The imagery is beyond beautiful, but the songs are mostly kinda bland.

What is the message of Coraline? I remember that she starts out being the original insufferable blue-hair bitch, unpleasant to all she encounters, then travels to an alternate world where everyone is really nice, charming and friendly, but it turns out that was just a sinister ruse.

I love the art-direction and the deep artistry that went into it, but is there a point they were trying to make?
