What's the movie/TV show equivalent?

Watching my friend’s dad play this at their house was my first experience with RTS and was extremely formative for me in my childhood. So on a personal level I’d have to put Battlestar Galactica or L O S T for the same impact on me for TV and maybe Pagemaster or Star Wars for movies.

TibSun basically is an action movie already, especially the GDI campaign.
But in terms of being an undercooked and underappreciated but extremely soulful sequel to a genre classic, I would probably say Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

I've only played skirmishes (RA & RA2). Never had any interest in playing the campaign and no one I knew did multiplayer so guess I didn't miss much

I want a "movie" based on the first game that is filmed like a documentary. Interviews with military officers from both sides, individual solders/believers, news reporters, politicians, civilian witnesses, scientists, all about the Tiberium War. Narrated by a journalist/historian recounting the events that took place some ten years prior. Themes being the decay of modern society, political and cultural division, religion and secularism, the environment (Tiberium), and AI of-course. It'd have archived war footage; from drones, attack aircraft, embedded reporters, satellite feeds, phone videos (civilians), ect.

It'd probably mostly be North Africans and Arabs, with Sub-Saharan Africans as conscripts, and most likely Nod would be aligned with the Afrikaners in South Africa, as a 5th Column there or insurgency. Tiberian Sun is not my favorite soundtrack, but it is so atmospheric and iconic. That said, I had fun a few months ago putting all the tracks from the original game, plus some remixes (official and fan-made), into a long playlist designed to sound like it represents the course of the war. Up-beat action at the start to transitions into grittier and then foreboding tunes, then rises to a crescendo at the end.

Another masterpiece from Westwood. I remember giving the disk to my classmates. And the whole class played Dune. Those who chose to play for the house Harkonnen were considered losers. I can't even remember if it had multiplayer I don't think it did just skirmish modes. That's probably why it wasn't as successful or remembered as westwood's other games. The soundtrack kicks ass though.

Ra refined the gameplay of a tiberian game that lay the groundwork. Like cnc1 is nearly unplayable if you were broken in with ra1. ts stands better on its own, but ra2 is clearly the superior in gameplay. while ts is stronger in setting, mood and atmosphere
