Finally watched True Detective. Damn I see why people jerk off this golden age of television. I don't think I could have watched it when it was airing the cliff hangers would have been fucking burtal. I'm not sure why I didn't watch it I think I had HBO at the time. I wonder how the threads went while it was airing. Anyone have any archived threads from whenever this shit was on? Always fun to catch up on things after. Can't even imagine the memes for the show.

Season 1 was peak kino back then here on /tv/. I was late to the game and started on episode three after the threads here were gushing about how it was the best thing on TV ever. They were right, and those nights and threads were comfy as fuck.

Season 2 was also comfy and full of memes, but everyone thought it sucked and was hoping it would get better, but it didn't.
