Every actor has to do gay shit. A long time friend of mine is trying to get into acting and his very first audition was playing a gay dude and he accepted it because it’s an offer and beggars can’t be choosers. They only told him his character was gay when he asked if there was kissing involved, then he got the role (a tiny 3 second part in a hallmark movie) and the day of they made him kiss another dude and he felt pressure to do it because he didn’t want to be labelled a homophobe in front of the crew and he didn’t want to lose potential recognition. In my opinion he sold his soul. But these people in charge want all young actors to do be doing gay shit on screen. If you dig deep enough you can find almost any actor has done something gay in their past.
