I'm interested in the future people's plan.
From what I understood they want to use the "Algorithm" (basically a math equation) and the "World Device" (a device that utilizes the equation and turns it into a tangible effect) to reverse the entropy on a planetary scale, killing all people since no one has the breather masks and equipment to survive the backwards flow of time. At the same time the Earth itself moves backwards through time toward a previous state without climate issues and the people from the future, who have the tech to reverse themselves, do it en masse and live on the inverted Earth normally, in a forever improving ecology since the planet is traveling toward a virgin state. From their perspective they are living normally since both the people and the planet are inverted.
They were banking that the grandfather paradox won't fuck them up and killing everyone in the past would not kill them as well.
Am I right?
