just now hearing that the creator of Ren and Stimpy was fired after season 2 and then they had 3 more without him. What is wrong with execs to do this kind of shit. Another thing why did all these impactful animators/artists/creators fizzle away and basically leave very little lasting impact on the animation world long term. Shouldn't one of these creators whether this guy or Danny Antonucci or whomever have a modern series?

i watched that doc on Tubi and really triggered me they turned the last 15 minutes into him "grooming" his 15 year old female fans who basically threw themself at him and he gave them every opportunity and they acted raped

Working in an American animation studio is like working in a 4 Chan studio. Everyone is hateful or jealous of one another. NYC animation studios were horrible.
Plus the jews own them all and keep on taking way the budgets and they pitted the talent against one another so at a certain point no animator trusted another.

he was an opinionated, extremely talented and also extremely disturbed guy. And I don’t know the full story but it doesn’t seem like he actually did anything illegal or wrong. But what I do know is, Nickelodeon did not care about anyone diddling kids, they fired him because he didn’t want to churn out slop like a factory. And the only clip I saw from the doc was some female exec basically acting like she invented ren and stimpy because she suggested those characters from his sketchbook would be good characters to make a show about
