For example. Charlie is the secret big bad because she's using the Hotel as a trojans horse to move demons into heaven to take it over, and show up dear ol' dad.

And acceptable runner up is that Charlie is genuine, but dear ol' dad uses the Hotel to sneak demons into Heaven to wage war which Charlie has to stop.
