My girlfriend calls every convenience store an “Indian mart” and I thought she meant those actual desi supermarkets where they sell packaged lassi and frozen samosas but she just calls them that cause an Indian always owns it.
I actually had a good rapport with the Indian who ran the gas station near my house in college. He knew me as the white guy who always got a cardamom chai from the machine and would let me use my card for it even though there was a 5 dollar minimum for most people. He spent 90% of his time watching cricket on a roof mounted TV right above the checkout.

There was nothing wrong with Apu. The grifter who made this documentary was just trying to get hired as his new voice actor by exploiting the ultra-woke climate. Instead the Jews outsmarted him and simply ditched the character altogether, leaving this guy to fade back into obscurity.
