There are some things you can get away with in manga but when translated to reality it's just goofy, Guts swinging a giant sword with ease you just can't pull off in live action the way you can with motionless panels

There is not a single chance in hell it would ever be anything but the most abysmal dogshit.
I won't even touch on the casting, it's already a lost cause. It goes without saying they'd cast Zendaya or Zoe Saldana or some other diversity goblin as Casca.

Just off the top of my head, Berserk is very well known for its amazingly detailed art. Weapons and armour in particular get an incredible amount of attention poured into them even for random mobs of soldiers fighting in the background. Double page spreads of lovingly drawn scenery and armies of mercenaries marching through them.
But when's the last time you remember a western movies studio having good looking medieval costumes? How about actually using extras instead of CGI hordes? Excalibur is the only thing that comes even remotely close and that was 44 years ago.

If there were serious theater companies producing actors that could do historical dramas every year on the level of the BBC. But the BBC is too much catered to old lonely people who watch daytime television; obviously that stable of British actors brought us Game of Thrones and they do cool stuff. Hollywood literally can only cast for pornos, every movie now is Jumanji, Longlegs was Jumanji, Dune was Jumanji, Nosferatu was Jumanji, Civil War was Jumanji, it's all shit and they're not going to make another frame of cinema. Elden Ring is going to be the most Jumanji movie ever made. Berserk at best would be made by ren faire dudes who went to art or film school
