>>211836149 (OP)>Hook with pommelPommels don't general come with hooks on them, so that move is doing precisely jack-shit.
Flaming arrows look cool, but they need to stop.
>>211836149 (OP)jews are the ones making movies fun to watch?

>>211836756Hook can refer to many things, like the object or a cuved path any object can make
For example, there were no physical hooks involved with your mother and sister like night. Im not that kinky, but its still called a 'hookup'
Does that help lil man?
>>211837010but that would be retarded conservatives. just look at the US. I hope the Jews will best them.

>>211836149 (OP)>lift visor and strikeWhy didn't they think of just tying their helmets, were knights stupid?
>>211836149 (OP)realism can only improve things.
It's no accident the best part of 300 was the brief moment where they were actually fighting with a proper shield wall formation.

Do you know some non-medieval kinos?
I like old battles, but the more I think about them, the less I seem to understand them. Hollywood got us used to the whole shouting and charging at the enemy in a chaotic way, and you can tell it's a silly coreography, everyone go one on one, the main character go dodge, dodge, hit, move to the next. Same old coreography. Then you ask some ancient battles nerds and they begin to fight between themselves on who has the right view of history from the period.
>>211836149 (OP)changes like having the extras stand further apart than the usual mosh pit, advances/movement in general being slower, combat at the front taking longer before people start dropping cause humans aren't suicidal & like their right hand, and no instant open-order chaos trope would all be good. it's kinda insane no film has done it properly. what's even stopping them
>>211838693there are charlatans and complete liars in the historical weapons & martial arts scene, but I think the academics who study it from an archeology-first POV are ok
>>211838693Best part of Rome was them showing how a Roman army actually fought: cohesive and together guided by the leaders with troops regularly switched out to rest; against the uncoordinated savages who fight until they drop and don't have an overall strategy. I have no clue where the usual directors got the idea that audiences will only accept mindless charging while yelling and be put off by actual intelligent battle tactics. It's just easier and cheaper but so, so stupid.
