Don't blame US, I watched it. Amazon is just retarded. They also cancelled that show with Brolin. These companies are too fucking stupid to understand that we are not in a realm of TV. You can have a show that does poorly but you can still finish it. In some time the show can come back with a cult following and you have the series on stream, meaning it is not taking up space in an actual broadcast time slot.
