Honestly Germany still was pretty awful in WW1, between the Rape of Belgium, the unreasonable treaty they imposed upon Russia, and the fact that they were under the military dictatorship of a proto-Nazi (Ludendorff). People act like the Second Reich was some sort of innocent victim of WW2 but they weren't that much better than the Third one. Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire were absolutely awful too, and started the war in the first place. So yeah, fuck the Central Powers

Yeah, no, retard. The narrative that the German Empire was ravaged by a war it didn't start and mistreated by the Treaty of Versailles is a very common tactic of Nazi sympathizers trying to make Hitler seem more sympathetic. The reality is that Germany was an imperialist belligerent and brought all of its misfortunes onto itself (except the commie revolution, that was pretty unfortunate)

Should Germany even be a country? Would it be better if it were just regions and some city states, like it was before 1871. Probably most places should be city-states/regions, not just Germany.
