I once liked a girl enough to sit through pointless gossip, arguments over nothing, bitching about friends behind their back and other shit that would have made life with her a living hell. I could put up with all of that because I was so utterly head over heels for her that I would willingly sit through it all.

One day she invited me up to her place solely so we could watch her favourite film which was White Chicks. That was far longer, far more uncomfortable, far more embarrassing, far more "I don't want to be here" than anything else before. I stopped being in love with her fairly quickly after. She goes out with a blonde human pencil now.
