I disagree with Rorschach. Yes Moore didn't like him but Moore's a pretentious pseud so his opinion doesn't matter.

I read Watchmen and Dr. Manhattan is too cold, the Comedian is an edgelord, Laurie is always in heat. Rorschach carries the book because he's darkly hilarious. It's the little things like seeing him buy a paper or working an odd job that makes him relatable. I can't tell if Adrian's genuine or if he's blowing up the world to build more real estate. He seems to hate the Comedian, but wished he put his daughter on a leash. I want to like the Comedian, but he's better doing glowie shit. The whole edgelord stuff just feels forced. Rorschach is a retard who solved the Ozymandias plot borderline through luck and cause he knew the guy who knows the guy. His real peak of skill was killing random pedophiles which is a net positive for sure, but he seems to view himself as a detective genius who could unravel any deep conspiracy.
But Moore doesn't like Rorschach for different reasons, he wrote Rorschach as a chud who hates muh gayerinos and is racist, he just didn't have him openly act out on those things cause Moore is in fact not a hack and does realize subtlety and what makes sense for the character at time and place.
