Both Dee and Dennis' actors tried to start their own show just to get away but they both got cancelled so they're stuck there

Streaming services have enabled a bad habit of allowing shows to continue FAR past their sell-by date. If the trend continues like it has with other shows the actors looking depressingly old is just the first sign. Eventually they'll have grey hair and DeVito will be dead but they'll still be putting out more seasons of slop.

Trailer Park Boys is one of the most egregious examples. A full generation passed, Ricky's daughter is an adult (who grew up to suck at acting it turns out), the central antagonist of the series is fucking dead and they STILL are making seasons.

crazy to think i remember being in 5th grade seeing commercials for this funny looking adult show with danny devito.....watching the show in high school, to now being 26 have not watched this show in 8 years and theyre still making episodes. fucking END IT. should have ended it at season 9.

Yeah, my first watch was with a roommate when we were both perpetually drunk and unemployed, frozen pizzas, 6am gas station beer runs, always sunny and some 90s cartoons, good times. We still periodically watch the Wade Boggs episode and shotgun beers. I am still not sure if this show is even funny when watched sober because I've never tried.

Honesty the show should have ended with that two-parter where they sink in the boat and go to heaven. The Mindy Kelly season was especially awful

Its 12 years later now and the show has been shit for 75% of that time.
