I only know Y Tu Mama Tambien, decent movie about two teen retards who were extremely gay for each other but wouldn't admit it so they got obsessive and compeititve and fucked a bunch of women just to spite each other.

There are several more movies but I could only put 10 obviously.
Also they don't have Twin Peaks: The Return on there cause it's technically a TV show but I would definitely have put it up there.

just did it, wtf was that database? i didnt recognize well known movies. like a carlos vermut one

also, of those 12 gifs from the website there's one i dont fully recognize, with a girl or boy with long hair in a grey hoodie swinging her arms back to front. it reminded me of fish tank the movie from andrea arnold from 2010 or so. is it that one? or another one i dont recognize, the rest are pretty mainstream, yes including the act of killing.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence chads, rise up!

Honestly, it was really hard to resist including many of my favorite early 2000s childhood films. In the end, I only allowed one (Scooby 2)(Nat Treasure is a timeless film for all ages). There are not a ton of great 21st century movies that inspire me to go with a full cinephile list. If this was an all time list, it would just be a cinephile list.

I would probably have put The Return on here, if it was allowed like it is with Sight & Sound + Cahiers.

Still Walking wasn't even an option on their poll lol.

The Dark Knight is probably deserving on some level. I loved it when it came out. But it physically caused me pain to try and put a super hero movie on the list (the only other Superhero choice for me was Spider-Man 1). I figure that it has plenty of other supporters anyway that it can afford me not voting for it.
