7/10 is the most worthless score that someone I don't know could assign to a movie. there's a reason 95% of major movie releases stay between 6-8 average rating on imdb: the average person is fucking retarded when it comes to rating art.

Like:
1)The cinematography was really good and captures the first movie's vibe very well
2)The main villain Dino is really cool in my opinion. It's weird to look at but that's what makes it so distinct
3)The movie ditches the Jurassic World "gimmickdino". The D-Rex isn't some bulletproof chameleon. It's just a really big dude with 6 limps that eats a helicopter out of the sky.
4)The climax is really good even if it ends on a clear cop out.
5)Scarlet Johansson is really good in this, even if she's just playing Black Widow again.
6)It's a clear move away from Dominion's direction. That movie was awful.
Didn't like:
1)The movie makes a passing reference to the 2015 "What are those?" Vine Jurassic Park version for some reason.
2)The beginning isn't good at all. Someone literally says "I'm putting together a team"
3)The script is cheesy in general.
4)The Dinosaurs in the world are all crammed in the equator because of "global warming or diseases or something" which devalues a lot of the previous movies
5)Jurassic Park:Rebirth is a stupid name. Nothing gets "rebirth". The name seems to be only about them apologizing for Dominion.

No.
But the movie has several Spinosauruses and it eats one of the disposable characters

The movie starts explaining that most of the dinosaurs outside of the equator are either dead or dying. Some rich guy hires Scarlett Johansson to help him with getting live Dinosaur DNA so he can sell a cure and it can be used to make people live longer. She agrees because he offered her billions. She helps to get crew. They ride a boat there. At the same time there's this family of Latinos that in the water. They get attacked by some ocean dinosaur and get stuck, but the group A save them. Then they get attacked by a pack of Spinosauruses that causes them to crash land on shore with the groups splitting. Thankfully Scarlet Johansson called in a helicopter to save them in a few days. They get they go around the island and find the 3 massive dinosaurs they need to get DNA from. However getting to the helicopter is made difficult at the last minute because some giant bird dinos start attacking. Then the D-Rex, a rampardos with limps come out, eats the helicopter in the fog and starts attacking. He eats the rich dude, but eventually the everyone else escapes. They talk about open sourcing the DNA so everyone can use it freely. The credits roll on the way home through a different boat.

I don't mean that. I mean there's a climax, but it ends cheaply.
The black guy sacrifices himself to distract the D-Rex and give everyone else time to escape on the boat...but then he survived anyways because...no clue. He just survived somehow.

No. The best was maybe one of the slighty important characters getting swallowed slowly whole by one of the bird dinos after making you believe he was going to have a suspenseful escape.

I also saw it and I'd say it's not too memorable especially since it's predictable as hell. Most of the kills occur off screen so gore fans won't get their fix. It'd be a decent flick to have in the background.

And there's no end credits scene.

**The most brutal death is just your classic human getting picked up by a dino and just getting eaten. None of the kills are as creative/brutal as that babysitter death from Jurassic World especially since nearly all the deaths are off screen**

The best death will forever remain the lawyer one. Great lighting, great prop of t-rex, great animation, great "brutal but not cheap gore" depiction of death.
Perfect.

AMC theaters has a weekly showing in which they show a new movie but they won't announce which movie. They just play it and you hope it's a decent flick. Although it was leaked this morning that it was Jurassic Park.

I just got home from the theater. I feel like 6 mutated dinosaurs out of 10 is right.
The first 3/4 of the movie were solid and had some really cool scenes, along with some generic and predictable stuff.
The last 1/4 is a let down in multiple ways. If it hadn't, it would be a solid 7.
For reference, the last couple Jurassic movies were 5's at best.

A cool part of the theater going experience was the people who genuinely didn't know what movie was going to be shown and cheered when the little intro with ScarJo and nerd boy told them what they'd be seeing for the Monday Mystery Movie.

A bad ending can really hurt a movie. On top of that, the d-rex was slow and dumb. The characters are literally running under it. Mehershila somehow getting away was not surprising at all, but also gutless. He could have literally thrown the flare and just jumped in the water and swum under the dock.
