General moviegoers are more likely to identify Ghostface over Michael. They may not call him Ghostface, some may just refer to him as "Scream", but Ghostface is more distinguishable. A lot of normies would confuse Michael with Jason, no one will mistake Ghostface for Ghostface. And I'd prefer the Halloween series, but facts are facts.

I don't count the gay ass eyes-only things as "masks". Especially since every single one of them is identical. From Mr.Incredible to catwoman.
