they should've died at the very least so we saw rick doesn't get to keep anything he enjoys but they didn't even do that.

glad they go back to more single episode adventures instead of shitty storylines.
overrarching storylines killed south park shows like these need to retain the simpsons one adventure per episode formula and go wild with it, they literally can do anything.. as soon as shows like this try to act serious and have big season stories and insert "current thing" in it they die

It was nice, Morty accidentally starting revolution and Rick's attachment to his adoptive parents was funny but the episode as a whole was lacking jokes it just felt off to me for some reason.

It was amusing, but overall just kinda meh. It had the same issue as a lot of episodes seem to have now; the initial set-up was far more interesting than the direction the actual plot went. I think I would have enjoyed it more if the whole episode was just Rick and Morty trying to blend in while being blindsides by increasingly strange situations/customs. Matrix episode was the only episode I genuinely enjoyed so far. Easter Bunny was godawful and all the others were just alright without really standing out.

The matrix episode was alright, the rest is pretty bad
Overall the best episode in the series remains the hole one
